Start with your fridge, then decide what to cook
Some vegetables, half a tub of yoghurt or a few eggs, but no idea for dinner? Your Fridge helps you start with those ingredients and explore recipes you could make from them.
Choose what you want to use
Take a photo of your fridge or arrange individual ingredients together. Then check the list suggested by AI. Keep the foods you can and want to use, remove incorrect entries and add anything that is missing.
Consider which ingredients need using first. The app does not reliably detect expiry dates or automatically manage your fridge inventory. You check food condition, freshness and available quantities yourself.
Include your pantry, not just the photo
Select suitable pantry staples in your cooking preferences. This lets you include items that are not visible in the picture. Only select ingredients you actually want to use.
The five recipe ideas start with your choices. A recipe may still call for something extra. Compare the listed missing ingredients before deciding what to make. A dish that needs no extra shopping is not guaranteed.
A different direction for familiar ingredients
Italian tonight, a surprise next time
Suppose you have tomatoes, courgette, eggs and cheese. Choose an Italian direction or the surprise option, then compare the ideas. This illustrates how you guide the selection. It does not promise a specific recipe.
Explore combinations through a cuisine you choose
Cooking preferences include cuisines such as Italian, Greek, Mexican, Indian and Japanese. A different cuisine can give familiar ingredients a new direction. Pick an easy difficulty for a relaxed evening, or adjust the level when you want a more involved cooking session.
Your Fridge favours suitable traditional dishes from your selected cuisine. Where your ingredients only allow a looser connection, the idea is labelled as inspiration. Selecting a cuisine does not mean that every ingredient combination can become an authentic traditional dish.
Check, cook and keep the ideas you like
Open one of the five suggestions and read the ingredients and cooking steps. Choose according to the food you really have. Check allergens, amounts and safe preparation. The app offers ideas rather than automatically checking your food.
Mark recipes you like as favourites. Your history helps you return to earlier ideas, so you can find a useful combination again the next time you need it.

Do I have to pick a particular cuisine?
